Hi, I'm Tala Rosenthal - a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant who believes good bookkeeping and accounting should feel supportive and not overwhelming. With over ten years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting in Canada, I have built my career around clarity, accuracy, and trust. I am known for translating complex financial information into something clients can actually understand and use. Black Ledger Books was created to support small businesses and creatives in Nashville with bookkeeping that feels personal, practical, and reliable.
I am in the process of challenging the International Qualification Exam to convert my Canadian CPA status to the American equivalent.

Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta
The CPA program in Canada is a modular graduation program that culminates in a three-day common final exam. In addition to passing the exam, you must also complete 30 months of relevant practical experience to successfully finish the program.
